Anaheim Recalls Shea Theodore; Gulls Bring in Eric Knodel

SAN DIEGO - The San Diego Gulls today announced that defenseman Shea Theodore has been recalled by the Anaheim Ducks, San Diego's National Hockey League affiliate. Additionally, the Gulls have recalled defenseman Eric Knodel from Utah, San Diego's ECHL affiliate.

Theodore, 20 (8/3/95), has appeared in all 13 games with San Diego this season, collecting 1-7=8 points with a +4 rating. The 6-2, 195-pound defenseman recorded four assists (0-4=4) in his last three games with the Gulls. A native of Langley, British Columbia, Theodore was previously recalled by Anaheim on Oct. 17 but did not appear with the Ducks. He was reassigned two days later (Oct. 19).

Knodel, 25 (6/8/90), has yet to dress for San Diego this season. The 6-6, 216-pound defenseman has appeared in four games with Utah, going scoreless with two penalty minutes (PIM).
