McNiven Named Becker Shoes Player of the Week

The Owen Sound Attack has named veteran goaltender Michael McNiven the teams Becker Shoes Player of the Week for the Week ending Sunday, November 15th.
This is the second time the netminder has won the award this year after taking home the honor in week two.
The Montreal Canadiens prospect finished the weekend with a 1-0-1-0 record, which was accompanied by a 1.45 Goals Against Average and a .942 save percentage in an overtime loss against Kitchener and a victory over Saginaw.
McNiven currently sits in the among the league leaders in every statistical category. He is 2nd in Game Played (19), 6th in Goals Against Average (2.46) and T-3rd in Save Percentage (.921). After backing up Team OHL last Thursday against Russia in Owen Sound, McNiven will travel to Windsor this evening to start against the Russian squad with his OHL teammates.
The Attack is on the road this weekend when they travel to Sarnia and Windsor. Both games are 7:05pm and can be watched live on Rogers TV or fans can tune in to Kia of Owen Sound/Terry's Trailer Service Bear Radio on 560 CFOS with Fred Wallace.
