Wave Dominate Waza Flo in Home Opener

November 15, 2015 - Major Arena Soccer League (MASL)
Milwaukee Wave News Release

The Wave and Waza Flo came out of the gates swinging, trading blows back and forth and matching goals in this MASL Central Divisional Battle. Detroit scored first, and early in the 1st quarter, but Milwaukee native #15 Tony Walls answered back quickly with his first of two goals on the night. After a deflected rebound, the Waza Flo took the lead again in the 1st, but it was the last time they would lead in the game.

#26 Ian Bennett ended the night with a hat trick with scores in Q2 (3:59 & 5:01) and in Q3 (11:27). #77 Marcio Leite added 2 more goals (Q3 13:27, Q4 11:27), newcomer #23 Tony Patterson scored his first goal of his Major Arena Soccer League career, while co-captain #2 Tenzin Rampa and former Baltimore Blast star #24 Max Ferdinand rounded out the scoring with 1 goal each.

The MKE Wave set their sights on Cedar Rapids and welcome the Rampage to UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena Saturday, November 21st at 6:05pm for the Soccer Mom (or Dad) Takeover! We celebrate all of the amazing Soccer Moms and Dads out there in a special game dedicated to you. You could win a FREE MKE Wave Summer Camp in 2016 and more!
