Tonight the Missouri Comets traveled to Harrisburg for the Heat's home opener. The Heat gave a valiant effort against the 3-0 Comets, but ultimately fell short, 11-1.

The Comets got up early in the first quarter on an own goal. That goal was followed with another Missouri goal by Vahid Assadpour.

Only one minute later, the Heat answered with a goal. Chris Williams passed to Kenny Fultz to make it 2-1 halfway through the first quarter.

The second quarter was back-and-forth, only seeing one goal total. Lucas Rodriguez increased Missouri's lead when he found the net early in the second quarter to make it 4-1 going into the half.

In the second half, Missouri added to their lead by putting seven more in the back of the net.

The Missouri Comets saw goals from Assadpour (2), Ramone Palmer (3), Rodriguez, Kevin Ten Eyck, Bryan Perez, John Sosa, and Robert Palmer.

Fultz tallied his second goal of the season for the Heat.

Boris Pardo is credited with the win for the Comets, while Tim Mehl took the loss in the net for the Heat.

The Heat's next game is November 28 at the Farm Show Complex. This will be the first afternoon game of the season, starting at 2:05.
