LA Kings Loan Goaltender Patrik Bartosak to Manchester of ECHL

Ontario, CA - The Ontario Reign, proud American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League (NHL), announced today that goaltender Patrik Bartosak has been loaned by the Kings from the Reign to the Manchester Monarchs of the ECHL on a conditioning assignment.

Bartosak, 22, has not appeared in a contest with the Reign this season. Last season, the Koprivnice, Czech Republic, native dressed in 28 games with the Monarchs (AHL) going 12-8-5 with a 2.23 goals-against average and .919 save percentage. In the postseason, he relieved an injured Jean-Francois Berube in the Calder Cup Finals and won two contests, including the decisive Game 5 to clinch the Calder Cup Championship. Bartosak was selected by the Kings in the fifth round (146th overall) of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.

The Ontario Reign head out on the road for a three-game road trip starting Saturday, November 14 against the Bakersfield Condors at 7:00 p.m. at Rabobank Arena in Bakersfield, California and continue their journey to the Lone Star State on Friday, November 20 and Saturday, November 21 to take on the San Antonio Rampage and Texas Stars. The Reign visit the Rampage at AT&T Center on Friday at 5:30 p.m. PT and take on the Stars for the first time this season on Saturday at Cedar Park Center at 5:00 p.m. PT.

The Reign return to Citizens Business Bank Arena on Wednesday, November 25 to host the Stockton Heat at 7:00 p.m.
