Details for Veterans Weekend & Charity Bowling Event Announced

ESTERO, FL - The Florida Everblades will once again be honoring Veterans and Military personnel this Saturday, November 14 when the Everblades play host to the Idaho Steelheads at Germain Arena. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m. The annual Veterans Night is presented by The National Coalition for Patriots.

The Everblades will wear special military themed jerseys (pictured below) for both Friday and Saturday's games. These special jerseys will be auctioned off immediately following the game with the proceeds benefiting The National Coalition for Patriots.

The National Coalition for Patriots is a national organization which is founded and based in Southwest Florida. The organization is determined to help our veterans by reaching out to the community to offer financial, emotional, and social assistance to veterans.

Veterans and Military personnel will be honored throughout the game. The Everblades Tailgate Party begins at 5:00 p.m. which will feature live music, as well as bounce houses and face painting for the kids!

Special Military Ticket Discount: All military personnel may receive a $1 off the advance ticket price (a $5 savings from day of game price) when they present their Military ID at the Florida Community Bank Box Office!

Bowling with the Blades Charity Event

Sunday, November 15, 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Pin Street Bowling Center located at 4140 Fowler Street in Fort Myers. (Everblades players will arrive at 1:30 p.m.)

Bowling with Blades is a bowling event benefiting Bowlers to Veterans Link (BVL), which is an organization offering support to veterans in Southwest Florida VA hospitals, nursing homes and clinics. BVL is a nationally recognized organization supported by the US Bowling Congress and bowlers nationwide.

Come out and support a great cause, while meeting a couple of the Everblades players, who will take part in the bowling!

SPECIAL BOWLING / GAME TICKET OFFER: Fans can bowl in this Sunday's event and attend an Everblades hockey game next weekend for either of the games played on November 20 & 21 against the Wheeling Nailers. The Bowling and Everblades game package is just $30, and a portion of each package sold will benefit The Bowlers to Veterans Link. Game Tickets: Everblades tickets may be purchased at the Florida Community Bank Box Office located at Germain Arena, or at any Ticketmaster outlet, or online at www.ticketmaster.com

Fans are welcome to watch all away games at New York Pizza & Pasta in North Naples, located at 11140 Tamiami Trail. North Naples, and at Cantina 109 located at Gulf Coast Town Center in Fort Myers.
