ANOTHER GREAT SHOW TONIGHT: SIMPSON, DAVIDSON

The Silvertips Hockey Show returns live to Sporty's Beef and Brew in two weeks and brings you engaging conversation tonight, exclusively on FOX Sports 1380 with Silvertips alumni and brass. Goaltender Kent Simpson, currently skating in the AHL with the Stockton Heat and a member of the Silvertips for four seasons, will be joining the show via phone. General Manager Garry Davidson will also share the latest on the Silvertips through 13 games of the season, the shaping of a team through the draft, and more.

The Silvertips Hockey Show, airing on tape delayed basis due to travel, will return to live airing at Sporty's on Nov. 24.

WHO TO WATCH FOR, FRIDAY: The Silvertips host the Spokane Chiefs for the second time this season and for the third meeting overall, following a Wednesday tilt at Spokane Arena. The Tips defeated Spokane in a thriller, 5-4 in overtime to open the regular season home schedule at XFINITY Arena on Oct. 10. The Tips get assistant coach Mitch Love, goaltender Carter Hart and defenseman Noah Juulsen back for their first home game since returning from Hockey Canada duties, while Spokane returns 44-goal scorer Adam Helewka, a San Jose Sharks prospect.

MOVEMBERFEST: THIS SATURDAY

Currently underway with showcasing their upper lip for men's health, the Silvertips are participating in the annual fundraising event "Movember," encouraging fans to contribute with donations for moustaches grown by the Silvertips to raise awareness and funds for men's health.

In conjunction, the Silvertips will host "Movemberfest" at XFINITY Arena on Saturday, Nov. 14 at 7:05 p.m. against the Swift Current Broncos. Movemberfest brings all Silvertips fans together for a salute to the moustache growing efforts at XFINTY Arena and an up-to-date event on the development of Silvertips facial hair. Special $25 tickets are available for the game exclusively at the Silvertips website, offering a lower level (green) ticket, gray snapback hat and voucher for a free drink.

An exclusive group ticket offer, suitable for 10 or more, provides savings off the individual ticket price by calling Tia Dutton in the Silvertips offices at (425) 609-2811.

WHO TO WATCH FOR, SATURDAY: Currently hovering the .500 mark, the Swift Current Broncos make their only visit to XFINITY Arena of the season this Saturday. The Silvertips, 12-8-4 lifetime against the Broncos, face Swift Current's Jon Martin (32 points in 18 games), a recent acquisition from Kootenay and one of the top scorers in the WHL this season.
