Lancers Acquire Keegan Ward from Muskegon

Ralston, NE - The Omaha Lancers, proud members of the United States Hockey League announced today that they have acquired forward Keegan Ward from the Muskegon Lumberjacks in exchange for a Phase II, 11th-round pick in the upcoming USHL Draft.
Last season, the Northern Michigan commit helped the Lumberjacks win the Eastern Conference and advance to the Clark Cup Final, where they eventually lost to the Sioux Falls Stampede in three games. Prior to joining the Lumberjacks, the 6'2'' 199lb Ward played 25 games with Lincoln in 2013-2014, including one game last season the Stars.
"Keegan is a big, strong, power forward who plays hard," said Omaha Lancers head coach and general manager Brian Kaufman. "We're excited to add him to our team."
From the 2013-2014 season until now, Ward has played 61 regular season games combined with Lincoln and Muskegon, tallied four points, and collected 193 minutes in penalties.
The Omaha Lancers return to Sioux Falls on Friday night to face the Stampede before returning home Saturday to host Des Moines on Military Appreciation Night at Ralston Arena!
