Bulldogs Fall 6-2 to Attack

OWEN SOUND, ON - The Hamilton Bulldogs (6-11-0-0) lost their third in a row with a 6-2 loss against the Owen Sound Attack (9-6-2-1) Saturday night.

The Attack opened the scoring at 14:12 of the first period when Damir Sharipzyanov picked the top corner with a wrist shot from the slot.

Jaden Lindo made it a 2-0 game as he found himself all alone in front of Charlie Graham at 18:33 of the period and scored his 9th of the season for Owen Sound.

After the first period Hamilton trailed 2-0 on the scoreboard and managed just two shots on goal in the opening twenty minutes of play.

Thomas Schemitsch made it a 3-0 Owen Sound lead 5:20 into the second period by hammering home a power play goal.

The Bulldogs began to fight back on the power play as Stephen Harper cut into the lead netting his 12th of the season on a 5-on-3 man advantage. Michael Cramarossa and Niki Petti picked up the assists for the 'Dogs.

Then just 47 seconds later Mason Marchment deflected a Stephen Harper point shot to make it a 3-2 game. Through 40 minutes the Bulldogs trailed 3-2.

In the third period the Attack put the game away Santino Centorame scored his first of the game 2:22 into the 3rd period.

Justin Brack then piled in an unassisted goal and Centorame added his second of the game at 11:06 on the power the wrap up the scoring on the night.

Hamilton continues their three game road trip Friday night as they head to Kingston to play the Frontenacs. The Bulldogs are back at home on Saturday November 14 when they host the Ottawa 67's at 7:00 p.m.
