Monarchs Sign Two to Try-Out Agreements

BRAMPTON, ON - Manchester Monarchs Head Coach, Rich Seeley, announced today the team has agreed to Amateur Try-out Agreements with Mitchell Dempsey and Massimo Lamacchia.

Dempsey, a 6-foot-4, 207-pound left-shot left wing, played last season with the Saint John Sea Dogs of the QMJHL. With the Sea Dogs, Dempsey played in 60 games, scoring 25 points on eight goals and 17 assists.

The Cambridge, ON native was selected #210 overall by the Boston Bruins in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.

Lamacchia, a 5-foot-8, 160-pound right-shot forward, played last season for Brown University (ECAC), playing in 31 games and recording 11 points on one goal and 10 assists. Over his four seasons at Brown, Lamacchia played in 113 games, registering 42 points on 16 goals and 26 assists.

The Monarchs are back in action tonight (7:15 p.m.), as they face-off against the Brampton Beast for the second game of a three-game series in Brampton, ON.
