Toledo Walleye News Release
TOLEDO, OH - Kyle Rogers has scored more goals, has more assists, and has played in more games than any other player to put on a Toledo Walleye uniform, and now he's taking that T-Town Hockey experience into the Walleye broadcast booth for home games during the 2015-16 season.
With Matt Melzak doing the play-by-play, Rogers and Scott Paluch will provide color commentary for games played at the Huntington Center. Rogers will make his broadcast debut on Opening Night, November 7 as the Walleye take on Adirondack at 7:15 p.m.
Between 2010 and 2015, Rogers appeared in 319 games for the Walleye, scoring 69 goals with 108 assists. He appeared in 26 playoff games, scoring two goals with five assists. He also served as team captain for three seasons.
Paluch enters his third season with the Walleye broadcast team. Now a regional manager for USA Hockey, Paluch played his college hockey at Bowling Green State University and was the head coach of the Falcons for seven seasons (2002-2009).
