Dash's Annual Call-A-Thon Set for November 10

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (Nov. 5, 2015) - The Winston-Salem Dash's annual Commemorative Brick "Call-A-Thon" will take place this coming Tuesday, November 10, from 4-6 p.m. The Dash will raise money for its 2015 Charity Partner, The Shalom Project, through its Commemorative Brick program.

Throughout the Call-A-Thon, members of the Dash's front office team will sell engraved bricks that will be installed outside the main gates at BB&T Ballpark before the 2016 season. These bricks can be personalized to honor family members or friends, memorialize a loved one or celebrate a special event.

From now until the end of the Call-A-Thon, the Dash are offering special pricing for this bricks. If you purchase one brick for $125, each additional brick is just $75. Fans can take advantage of this great deal by calling the Dash at (336) 714-2287, or they can make their purchase during Tuesday's Call-A-Thon to receive the same offer.

Proceeds for the 2015 Commemorative Brick program will go to The Shalom Project and the Dash's community outreach efforts. The Shalom Project seeks to build a strong and healthy community by meeting the needs of people with compassion, celebrating diversity and working for justice. This non-profit 501(c)3 organization was established by Rev. Kelly Carpenter of the Green Street United Methodist Church in 2004. The Shalom Project compiles a Food Pantry and Clothing Closet, offers a Medical Clinic and Pharmacy, and holds a Welcome Table dinner each Wednesday night.
