Wisconsin Timber Rattlers News Release

GRAND CHUTE, WI - The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers have made an addition to their online media team that will help fans get more information about the Midwest League affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers. Kyle Lobner, former editor of Brew Crew Ball and writer of The Frosty Mug, will join the Rattlers as a contributing writer to timberrattlers.com.

"Kyle is a proven commodity when it comes to talking Brewers baseball, both at the big league level and the minor league level," said Timber Rattlers President, Rob Zerjav. "Our goal is to provide Timber Rattlers fans with great content year round and the addition of Kyle will be a great compliment to all of the other stories, features and videos we have available online and through social media during the offseason."

Lobner assisted with postgame interviews and worked as a stringer for the Timber Rattlers during the 2015 season. His first article will be on the team's website Wednesday, November 4 under the title Frosty Microbrews.

"I'm excited for another opportunity to work with the Timber Rattlers organization, and to share many of the fun and interesting stories I've come across while working with the team," Lobner said. "I'm hoping to provide new and old fans alike with a depth and variety of coverage they'll enjoy."

Broadcaster Chris Mehring will also continue to contribute weekly columns, interviews, and Flashback Friday, a look at the history of Appleton professional baseball, to the website this offseason. Mehring's Rattler Radio blog will have daily updates with podcasts, videos, and various other special features to get fans ready for 2016.

The schedule for the 2016 Wisconsin Timber Rattlers season is available here. Fans may purchase full season, half season, seven-game, and ten-game packages for next season through the Timber Rattlers Ticket Office at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium by calling (800) WI-TIMBER or (920) 733-4152; stopping at the Ticket Office; or online through timberrattlers.com.
