Kawartha Komets Fundraising Game Set for Sunday at 1pm

(Peterborough, ON) - The Peterborough Petes and Kawartha Komets Special Needs Hockey Team will play their annual fundraising game this Sunday, November 1 from 1:00-3:00pm at the Peterborough Memorial Centre.
The game will feature the junior, intermediate, and senior Komets who will play against members of the Petes in three separate games on Sunday afternoon. Admission is free, but donations will be accepted at entrances and throughout the game in support of the Komets' trip to the special hockey tournament.
Prior to Sunday, Petes forward Josh Maguire will be making a donation of $750 to the Komets during the game against the Kitchener Rangers on Thursday, October 29 at the PMC. The funds were raised for the donation at Josh's annual charity golf tournament, and will be presented on behalf of the Bryan Rose Sports Fund during the second intermission.
