PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. - Calling all New York Mets fans! The team is four wins away from the World Series and you are invited to root them on with fellow die hards on the Treasure Coast.
The St. Lucie Mets will be hosting a Watch Party for game 3 of the National League Championship Series between the Mets and Chicago Cubs on Tuesday at Mulligan's Beach House Bar & Grill in Jensen Beach.
First pitch on Tuesday is scheduled for 8:07 p.m. The Watch Party begins at 6:30 p.m.
The will be no cover charge to attend the Watch Party. Mulligan's will have food and drink specials for fans who wear Mets gear. Prizes will be given out through the course of the game.
The Mets advanced the NLCS by edging the Dodgers in a thrilling winner-take-all game 5 in the Division Series on Thursday in Los Angeles. It's the first time since 2006 the Mets have advanced this far in the postseason.
The Mets will host the Cubs in games 1 and 2 of the NLCS in New York. Game 3 will be played in Chicago.
