Goldeyes Finalize Trades

Winnipeg Goldeyes News Release
Winnipeg Goldeyes manager Rick Forney announced the following transactions today.
- Right-handed pitcher Tony Smith has been traded to the Schaumburg Boomers of the Frontier League to complete a previous trade between the two teams.
- Infielder Brad Boyer has been placed on irrevocable waivers for the purpose of granting his release.
- Right-handed pitcher Edwin Carl has been re-acquired from the Lancaster Barnstormers of the Atlantic League and outfielder Reggie Abercrombie has been re-acquired from the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs of the Atlantic League to complete previous trades.
American Association teams have until November 10, 2015 to exercise their option on contracts of players for the 2016 season.
