Durflinger Traded to Bloomington

Sioux City, Iowa - The Sioux City Musketeers have traded forward Jake Durflinger to the Bloomington Thunder of the USHL.
Durflinger, who was in his second season with Sioux City, had scored 2 goals in 3 games played to date this season. In 58 games last season he scored 7 goals and added 15 assists for 22 points. In exchange, the Musketeers receive a 4th round Phase 1 draft pick in the 2016 USHL Draft.
The Musketeers (2-3-0, 4 points) return to action tomorrow night in Sioux Falls for their 3rd game of the season against the Sioux Falls Stampede (1-3-0, 2 points). The 7:05pm game against the Lancers will be broadcast live at Buffalo wild Wings in Lakeport Commons for the teams second Watch Party of the season.
The team's two game road swing continues on Friday when they head to Omaha for their first game of the season against the Lancers (4-2-0 8 points) at Ralston Arena. Game time for the Friday contest is 7:05pm.
The Musketeers return to the Tyson Events Center on Sunday, October 18th for a 3:00pm game against the Waterloo Black Hawks (2-1-0, 4 points). Characters from the movie Frozen, including Anna, Elsa and Olaf, will be on hand for fans to meet, greet and take pictures with. Fans are also invited to join players on the ice after the game for a post-game skate with the team. Skates are available to rent for $3.00/pair, or fans who bring their own skates can skate for free.
