Sam Mitchell Teams up with Lynx by Providing Tickets for Wednesday's Game 5 vs. Indiana Fever

MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL - Timberwolves Interim Head Coach Sam Mitchell has secured 500 tickets for Game 5 of the WNBA Finals on Wednesday, October 14 (7 p.m. CT tip) at Target Center. Beginning Monday at 8 a.m., the first 500 fans that log on to www.lynxbasketball.com will have the opportunity to obtain the seats compliments of Coach Mitchell; limit two per customer.

Currently 2-2 in the series with Indiana, the Lynx fell to the Fever, 69-75, in Sunday's Game 4 despite 20 points and eight rebounds from Maya Moore as well as 16 points from Lindsay Whalen. Shenise Johnson led the Fever in Game 4 with 15 points, followed by Marissa Coleman with 14 points. Wednesday night's Game 5 will be televised on ESPN2.

Wednesday's game marks the first time that the WNBA Finals has been pushed to a decisive fifth game since 2009. This will be the first time in their seven postseason appearances that the Lynx have played the final game at home. Minnesota is 3-0 in close-out games at Target Center, winning Game 3 vs. San Antonio vs. San Antonio in 2011, Seattle in 2012 and Los Angeles this season.
