THE TEAMS: Amarillo Bulls @ Lone Star Brahmas

WHERE: NYTEX Sports Center - North Richland Hills, TX

WHEN: Tomorrow (Friday) night and Saturday @ 7:30 pm.

THE SERIES: It's the 2nd meeting of the season between the Amarillo Bulls and the Lone Star Brahmas. The two teams met in round one of Battle Of The Cattle Series with the Brahmas taking a narrow 2-1 victory. Lone Star visits the Texas Panhandle on Halloween Weekend.

TOUGH STRETCH: Since opening night the Amarillo Bulls have struggled with a mark of 0-5-2 (six of the seven by one goal), but with points in two of their last three contests.

BULLS BY THE NUMBERS: Forwards Joey Molinaro and Georg Mika have netted eight of the team's 18 goals. Forward Michael Forman and defenseman Brendan Murphy are a combined plus 10 (plus five each). Mika leads the team with 30 shots on goal and Johan Lundgren is second at 25.

HOME AGAIN, YES: The Amarillo Bulls are definitely looking forward to returning to the Budweiser Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center. After traversing between Minnesota, Corpus Christi and now North Richland Hills, it's time to get back home. The Bulls will play at home three of the next four weekends with games against Corpus Chrsti, Lone Star and Wichita Falls.

BRAHMAS' BITES: It's opening night for the Lone Star Brahmas at NYTEX Sports Center, a place where they enjoyed the creature comforts of home with 26 wins, the most of any North American Hockey League team. After picking up points in their first five games Lone Star suffered its first regulation loss and then another in overtime. The Brahmas have netted first goals in five of the seven games and have won four games (4-0-0) when leading after 40 minutes and outshooting an opponent.

ACROSS THE SOUTH: Lots of action this weekend in the South Division with the Topeka RoadRunners beginning a two game set in West Texas to face the Odessa Jackalopes at Ector County Coliseum. The Wichita Falls Wildcats close out a two game set at American Bank Center against the IceRays.
