Fever Name Offensive Coordinator

The Tri Cities Fever would like to welcome the addition of Offensive Coordinator Brian Schmidt.

Coach Schmidt comes to the Fever from the Iowa Barnstormers where he served as Defensive Coordinator. In 2015 the Barnstormers ranked in the top half of the IFL in nearly every statistical category. I n 2014 Coach Schmidt won a league championship on the staff of the Erie Explosion. With over twenty years of coaching experience, Schmidt has spent the last nine seasons in indoor football as Head Coach, Director of Football Operations, as well as a Coordinator. He began his indoor coaching career in 2009 with the Marion Mayhem (CIFL), but quickly advanced being named the Head Coach and Director of Football Operations for the Northern Kentucky River Monsters. In addition, Coach Schmidt spent the 2013 season with the Owensboro Rage. His offenses have ended as one of the top offenses in the league every year.

"Coach Schmidt brings a lot of offensive creativity and Quarter Back coaching knowledge. I am fired up about bringing a guy like this to my staff," stated Head Coach Ryan Lingenfelder.

The Tri-Cities Fever is a member of the Indoor Football League, playing its home games at the Toyota Center in Kennewick, Washington. The 2016 Season begins the weekend of February 26, 2016.
