INDIANAPOLIS - Indianapolis Colts players Andrew Luck, Pat McAfee, Dwayne Allen, Robert Mathis and Matt Hasselbeck have teamed to purchase 1,000 tickets for Colts fans to attend Game 3 of the WNBA Finals, Friday, Oct. 9 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse (8:00 p.m.).

The Indiana Fever open the WNBA Finals this weekend in Minnesota, battling the Lynx in a rematch of the 2012 Finals won by Indiana before a sellout crowd at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. Games 1 and 2 are in Minneapolis prior to Indiana hosting Game 3 next Friday, hoping for another WNBA Finals sellout.

The Colts franchise, which shares the NFL record with nine consecutive playoff appearances from 2002 to 2010, has enjoyed common postseason success with the Fever, who own the WNBA record standard with an active streak of 11 straight years in the playoffs.

"The support that we get, and I should mention that the Pacers also receive, from the Colts franchise is incredible," said Fever first-year coach Stephanie White who routinely attends Colts games each year.

"The respect between the franchises is real and genuine. Tell Coach Pagano I said, 'Go beat the Jags!'"

In an effort to pack the house against Minnesota, complimentary tickets courtesy of the Colts players will be distributed online, beginning this afternoon. Fans may claim up to four tickets by visiting FeverGroups.com/IndyColts. Participants will receive an email with instructions to claim their tickets. Questions may be directed to (317) 917-2528.

The Fever Playoffs are presented by Old National Bank. Fans are encouraged to wear RED to Game 3 and, if necessary, Game 4 on Sunday, Oct. 11 (8:30 p.m.).

A WNBA playoff participant in 11 straight seasons and 12 times since 2002, the Indiana Fever have reached at least the conference finals eight times in the past 11 years - including WNBA Finals appearances in 2009 and 2012. Just three seasons ago, Indiana capped the 2012 campaign as the champions of women's basketball, beating the Minnesota Lynx in the WNBA Finals.
