Stingrays Announce 2015 Training Camp Schedule

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC- The South Carolina Stingrays, celebrating 23 seasons in the Lowcountry and proud affiliate of the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League (NHL), announced its 2015 Training Camp schedule today.

The Stingrays open Training Camp on Monday, October 5. All practices will be held at the Carolina Ice Palace, located at 7665 Northwoods Blvd in North Charleston. All practices are open to the public as they are during the Ice Palace's normal business hours.

This year, the Stingrays host a pair of preseason games. On Friday, October 9, South Carolina battles the Greenville Swamp Rabbits at 7:05 p.m. The following night, Saturday, October 10, the club hosts the Atlanta Gladiators at 7:05 p.m. Both games will be played at the Carolina Ice Palace, and due to limited seating, the games are only open to Season Ticket Holders. There is no cost to attend either game, and Season Ticket Holders may pickup their tickets for the 2015-2016 season at either game.

The complete Training Camp schedule is below (subject to change):

Monday, October 5 to Thursday, October 8: Practice at Carolina Ice Palace, 10:30 a.m.

Friday, October 9: Preseason Game at Carolina Ice Palace versus Greenville, 7:05 p.m.

Saturday, October 10: Preseason Game at Carolina Ice Palace versus Atlanta, 7:05 p.m.

Monday, October 12 to Thursday, October 15: Practice at Carolina Ice Palace, 10:30 a.m.

The club's complete Training Camp Roster will be released at a later date. The Stingrays have already announced the return of several key players to the team's roster, including forwards Joe Devin and Patrick Gaul, as well as the addition of several new players, including goaltender Mark Dekanich and forward Trevor Gillies.
