The Sudbury Wolves are pleased to welcome-back 19 year-old veteran Import forward Pavel Jenys from the Minnesota Wild. Jenys marks the third player to be returned to the Sudbury Wolves line-up this week from NHL team camps. Capobianco, was returned by the Arizona Coyotes while Matt Schmalz was returned by the LA Kings.
Jenys, 19, is a big 6'3", 210 lb winger that led the Wolves in team scoring last year. Jenys was protected by the Wolves leading-up to the 2015 CHL Import Draft in July. With Jenys return, the Wolves now have Dmitry Sokolov, 17 and Jenys as their Import players for the upcoming OHL season.
With the return of Jenys, the Wolves now have 24 players on their active roster including: 14 forwards, 8 defencemen and 2 goaltenders.
The Wolves will be looking to kick-off the new OHL season with a win on Friday night over the #1 ranked team in the OHL -- the Niagara IceDogs. Game time is 7:00 p.m.
