Indiana Fever News Release

INDIANAPOLIS - The No. 3-seed Indiana Fever have beaten the No. 2-seed Chicago Sky in the WNBA Eastern Conference Semifinals, advancing to the conference finals for the fifth straight season, and the eighth time in 11 years.

Tickets for the Eastern Conference Finals begin at just $12 and are on sale NOW at FeverBasketball.com, BankersLifeFieldhouse.com and all Ticketmaster outlets. Conference finals tickets will go on sale at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse Box Office when the box office opens at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday morning.

The Indiana Fever playoffs are presented by Old National Bank.

In the conference finals, Indiana will face either No. 1-seed New York or No. 4-seed Washington. The Liberty and Mystics meet at Madison Square Garden, Tuesday, to determine the winner of their first-round series.

If New York wins at home on Tuesday, the Liberty will host Game 1 of the East Finals just one day later - Wednesday, Sept. 23 - due to the Pope's visit to New York on Friday. Indiana would host Game 2 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Sunday, Sept. 27. The Liberty would host a possible Game 3 on Tuesday, Sept. 29.

If Washington wins its semifinal series, Indiana hosts Game 1 of the East Finals on Thursday, Sept. 24. Washington would host Game 2 on Sunday. The Fever would host a possible Game 3 on Tuesday, Sept. 29.

Indiana's streak of five straight seasons in the conference finals (2011-15) match the WNBA record held by the Los Angeles Sparks (1999-03). Only the Fever and Sparks have ever reached the conference finals in at least eight seasons. The Fever is participating in their WNBA-record 11th consecutive postseason. Indiana's 31 all-time playoff victories are third in WNBA history.

A WNBA playoff participant in 11 straight seasons and 12 times since 2002, the Indiana Fever have reached at least the conference finals eight times in the past 11 years - including WNBA Finals appearances in 2009 and 2012. Just three seasons ago, Indiana capped the 2012 campaign as the champions of women's basketball, beating the Minnesota Lynx in the WNBA Finals.
