Sudbury Wolves News Release

The Sudbury Wolves will open up their 2015-16 regular season at home on Friday September 25th at 7:00pm when they host the Niagara IceDogs at the Sudbury Arena. It's a double-header weekend as the Wolves will hit home ice once again on Sunday afternoon to battle the Mississauga Steelheads at 2:00pm.

The Niagara IceDogs are led this year by Josh Ho-Sang and 2014 first round pick of the Arizona Coyotes, Brendon Perlini. The IceDogs are one of the Conference favourites coming into the season, as they are the third ranked team on the CHL Top-10 Pre-season Rankings.

Friday's game is sponsored by BELL FIBREOP, and the first 1,000 fans will receive Howl Towels. To compliment the Howl Towels, there will be exclusive home opener towels for season ticket holders. Before the game, the band 'Naked Soul' will be on hand to provide live entertainment for fans outside the arena.

Sunday's game is sponsored by Q-92, Sudbury's Best Rock, featuring a pre-game BBQ and free face painting for the first 500 season ticket holders in attendance. Q-92 will also be advertising the 25th Anniversary of their 'Toys for Boys' contest. One fan will get a chance to win an entry into the 'Toys for Boys' draw. This contest includes many awesome prizes, and contestants have the opportunity to take home the grand prize draw for a Chrysler 200, gift cards, jewellery and more!

The Steelheads are led by a number of young forwards, including the McLeod brothers, Michael and Ryan.

Tickets for both games are on-sale now at the Sudbury Arena Box Office, by calling 705-671-3000 or online at greatersudbury.ca!
