Moncton Wildcats News Release

MONCTON - Moncton Wildcats forward Kyle Tibbo has decided to return to Truro for the season to play Junior A with the Bearcats, while attending Dalhousie University.

Nineteen year old Tibbo played 59 games with the Wildcats last year, recording 29 points throughout the season.

Director of Hockey Operations, Roger Shannon had this to say about Kyle's time in Moncton and his decision to return to Truro. "In meeting and talking with Kyle it was obvious that it was in the best interest for all parties for him to play Junior A hockey for the season. His education is very important to him, so he will be attending Dalhousie University while he is back in Nova Scotia."

"With fifteen forwards and limited ice time on the horizon for him, we felt he really needed the opportunity to play more. Kyle was a very good player for us last year, a character kid who deserves to play and have fun at this game; I feel he made a good decision."

The Wildcats are back in action on Sunday at the Coliseum as they take on the Acadie-Bathurst Titan at 3:00 p.m.
