Game Story
The Pats and Raiders dueled to a scoreless first period with Daniel Wapple turning away eight shots and Rylan Parenteau stopping eleven. The second frame saw the scoring open up with Dylan Williamson starting things out on a gorgeous backhander off the rush. The Pats tied it up just moments after a powerplay expired with Rykr Cole tipping home a Brady Pouteau shot mid-way through the period. The Blue and White grabbed the lead when Adam Berg freed the puck up for Gary Haden who snuck his first of the pre-season past Parenteau. The second ended all square at 2-2 after Tim Vanstone tipped a point shot past Wapple on a late man advantage. The third period belonged to Prince Albert, as the Raiders scored three unanswered goals. Reid Gardiner, fresh off returning from Vancouver Canucks camp, scored on a four-on-four near the eleven minute mark. He was followed by Jordan Tkatch on the powerplay just over a minute later and Austin Glover capped off the game with a shorthanded empty net goal, downing the Pats by a 5-2 score.
