Jackals Unveil 2015-16 Promotional Schedule

ELMIRA, NY - September 16, 2015 - The Elmira Jackals, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Buffalo Sabres and the AHL's Rochester Americans, announced today the 2015-16 promotional schedule, which features a unique experience at every Jackals' home game!
Charity Give Back Preseason Game - Friday, October 9
The Elmira Jackals preseason game features $2 tickets with all proceeds being donated to local charities.
Adirondack Rivalry Renewed - Friday, October 16
The Elmira Jackals kick off the 2015-16 season by renewing their rivalry with the Adirondack Thunder. All fans in attendance will receive a magnet schedule. Fans will also be able to experience a Taste of First Arena with samples available before the game.
Stick Up For Kids - Saturday, October 17
Join the Jackals for our anti-bullying game with a t-shirt giveaway to the first 1,000 fans provided by Big Foote's Sporting Goods.
Pink in the Rink Presented by Arnot Health - Friday, October 23
One of the most important promotions of the year will feature pink jerseys and a specialty jersey auction following the game as the Jackals join Arnot Health and the Susan G Komen foundation to raise awareness of breast cancer. This is also a DeMet's Candy Cup Challenge Game.
Rock N' Skate / Drop the Puck on Hunger - Friday, October 30
The Elmira Jackals are partnering with the Food Bank of the Southern Tier. More details coming soon. Stick around after the game for Rock N' Skate on the main ice at First Arena.
Trick or Treat on Ice Presented by Party Time - Saturday, October 31
Fans are encouraged to come to the game in Halloween costumes and trick or treat on the ice after the game. There will be a costume parade during the first intermission. Fans are encouraged to arrive early for a special giveaway item provided by Party Time. The game will also be the kick-off to Movember, designed to raise awareness of men's health issues.
Ziff Law Veterans Appreciation Night - Friday, November 13
Join the Jackals and Ziff Law Firm as we honor those who have served in the United States Armed Forces.
Wounded Warrior Night - Saturday, November 14
Join the Jackals as we honor those who were wounded while serving in the United States Armed Forces. Fans are encouraged to arrive early for a special giveaway item provided by Party Time.
Autism Awareness Night - Saturday, November 21
The Jackals look to raise awareness of autism. Fans are encouraged to arrive early for a special poster giveaway. This is also a DeMet's Candy Cup Challenge Game.
Small Business Saturday - Saturday, November 28
Join the Jackals as they look to support local businesses. Fans are encouraged to arrive early for a special giveaway item provided by Party Time. The game will also see the Jackals wrap-up Movember.
Star Gazette Community Night - Wednesday, December 2
Check your Star Gazette for a special ticket offer to this game. This will also be the first of the Jackals' $1 beer nights, which will continue on Wednesdays throughout the season.
Toys for Tots / Teddy Bear Toss - Friday, December 4
Fans are encouraged to bring new toys to be donated to Toys for Tots. This will also be the Jackals' Teddy Bear Toss game, where fans are encouraged to toss their new, or gently used teddy bears onto the ice following the first Jackals goal of the evening. We ask that the bears are placed in plastic bags before being tossed onto the ice to keep them in good condition.
Fur Circus Presented by Arnot Mall / Girl Scout Night - Saturday, December 5
Fur Circus characters will be available to meet, greet and mingle with fans at First Arena. Fur Circus is presented by Arnot Mall. Girl Scouts should check with their troop leader regarding participation in Girl Scout Night. Call the First Arena Box Office for more information.

Star Wars Weekend Presented by Visions Federal Credit Union - Friday, December 11
The Jackals kick off Star Wars Weekend presented by Visions Federal Credit Union. Arrive early for a special poster giveaway. Fans are encouraged to come to First Arena in costume to celebrate the upcoming release of Episode VII. The Jackals will be wearing special Star Wars themed jerseys.
Star Wars Weekend Presented by Visions Federal Credit Union - Saturday, December 12
The Jackals wrap-up Star Wars Weekend presented by Visions Federal Credit Union. Following the game, the specialty jerseys will be auctioned off. Fans are again encouraged to attend the game wearing Star Wars themed attire.
ZOO!perstars Presented by Horseheads Jubilee - Saturday, December 26
Zoo!perstars will perform on the ice during intermissions at the night's game thanks to our friends at Horseheads Jubilee. Fans are encouraged to arrive early for a special giveaway item provided by the Chemung County Youth Bureau. This is also a DeMet's Candy Cup Challenge Game.
Frozen Night - Friday, January 8
Jackal's fans can come and have their pictures taken with many beloved characters from the movie Frozen.
Elmira Jackals Alumni Night - Saturday, January 9
The Elmira Jackals will honor some of the great players of the past.
Chemung County Chamber Night - Thursday, January 14
The Jackals will join together with the Chemung County Chamber to celebrate Chemung County. There will be a special ticket offer for Chamber members.
Children's Miracle Network Night - Friday, January 15
The Jackals will be partnering with the Children's Miracle Network to raise awareness for a great cause. This is also a DeMet's Candy Cup Challenge Game.
Blade's Birthday Party - Sunday, January 17
Join the Jackals as we celebrate Blade's birthday. Following the game, fans will have the opportunity to skate with the players. Fans are encouraged to arrive early for a special poster giveaway.
Elmira Jackals Youth Hockey Celebration - Monday, January 18 - Special 1:05 pm start time
The Jackals welcome local youth hockey teams to the game. Youth hockey players will be featured during pre-game and intermission activities.

Battle of the Badges - Saturday, February 20
Join the Jackals as local police and fire departments are honored at First Arena. Fans are encouraged to arrive early for a special poster giveaway. Prior to the Jackals game, First Arena will host a charity game between local police and fire departments.
Twin Tiers Outdoor Expo Night Presented by Big Fox - Friday, February 26
The Jackals join with Big Fox to celebrate the great outdoors. Get a sneak peek of selected vendors from the 2016 Twin Tiers Outdoor Expo. This is also a DeMet's Candy Cup Challenge Game.
Boy Scout Night / St. Patrick's Day Celebration - Friday, March 11
The Jackals will be celebrating St. Patrick's Day at First Arena. Boy Scouts should check with their troop leader regarding participation in Boy Scout Night. Call the First Arena Box Office for more information.

Mascot Mania / JDRF Awareness Night - Saturday, March 19
Blade's mascot friends will be at First Arena for a night of fun for children of all ages. The Jackals will also help raise awareness of Juvenile Diabetes.
Celebrate Watkins Night Presented by the Watkins Glen Area Chamber of Commerce - Friday, March 25
Come to First Arena to see the best of what Watkins Glen has to offer. Visit Watkins Glen merchants on the concourse as the Jackals celebrate Watkins Night.
Easter Egg Hunt - Saturday, March 26
Children in attendance will have the opportunity to go on an Easter Egg Hunt at First Arena.
Fan Appreciation Night - Saturday, April 9
Join the Jackals as they say goodbye to the regular season and thank our season ticket holders and fans with special giveaways. Fans are encouraged to arrive early for a giveaway provided by Chemung County Youth Bureau.
