Six Reign FC Players Called up for International Matches

SEATTLE (September 14, 2015) - Seattle Reign FC announced today that six members of its squad will be appearing in international matches for their respective national teams throughout the month of September.

Scottish internationals midfielder Kim Little and defender Rachel Corsie have been named to Scotland's roster for the 2017 UEFA Women's Euros. Scotland will face Norway's Women's National Team in an international friendly on September 17 before taking on Slovenia on September 22 in the qualifying group stage of the Euros.

Welsh international midfielder Jess Fishlock has also been called up to participate in a Euro qualification. Her side will face Austria on September 22.

Additionally, forward Katrine Veje will join the Danish Women's National Team to compete in two international friendlies during the month of September in preparation for their Euro qualification matches in October. Denmark will face Romania on September 17 and Switzerland on September 22.

U.S. Women's National Team (USWNT) members Hope Solo and Megan Rapinoe will continue the USWNT Victory Tour with matches against Haiti on September 17 in Detroit (4 p.m. PT on FOX Sports 1, FOX Sports Go) and September 20 in Birmingham, Alabama (11:30 p.m. PT on ESPN2, WatchESPN). The matches are the third and fourth of the tour which started with two convincing victories against Costa Rica in August.

Reign FC clinched its NWSL Championship berth on Sunday night with a 3-0 victory over the Washington Spirit. All six internationals are set to return to Seattle following their national team duties to prepare for the NWSL Championship against FC Kansas City in on October 1.
