PENSACOLA, FL - The Milwaukee Brewers have announced the following roster moves that affect the Shuckers roster prior to tonight's 6:35 pm, game three of the Southern League South Division Series. The Shuckers currently lead the best-of-five series, 2-0.

Daniel Fields OF, reports to Biloxi after being claimed off waivers from Detroit on 9/10

Taylor Green, INF, transferred from Biloxi to the Advanced-A Brevard County roster

Fields, 24, was claimed off of waivers by Detroit on Thursday and optioned to Biloxi. The Detroit, MI native reported to Biloxi on Saturday and joins the Shuckers during the South Division Series against the Pensacola Blue Wahoos. Fields batted .225 with seven home runs and 41 RBI with Triple-A Toledo this season. Over six years in the minors, he is a .244 career batter with 86 stolen bases.

Fields was promoted from Toledo to Detroit on June 2 and collected his first Major League hit, on a ninth inning double against the Oakland Athletics on June 4 in front of his hometown fans at Comerica Park. Fields was optioned back to Toledo after the game.

The Shuckers will try to clinch a spot in the Southern League Championship tonight as Southern League ERA champion RHP Tyler Wagner (11-5, 2.25) takes the wheel for Biloxi, while Pensacola will counter with RHP Tim Adleman (9-10, 2.64). Wagner finished with a perfect 3-0 record against the Blue Wahoos in 2015, with just five runs - four earned - allowed in 25 innings. Adleman dropped three of four contests against the Shuckers during the regular season, allowing eight runs - four earned - over 24.1 innings of work. First pitch is scheduled for 6:35 p.m., with coverage beginning at 6:20 p.m. on 1240-AM WGCM, 1580-AM WPMO and the Biloxi Shuckers Radio Network. If the Shuckers do advance to the Championship Series they would host games one and two and MGM Park with dates to be determined. Tickets are currently on sale for those potential contests.
