Swamp Rabbits Announce 2015-16 Promotional Schedule

Greenville, S.C. - The Greenville Swamp Rabbits, proud ECHL affiliate of the New York Rangers and the AHL's Hartford Wolf Pack, are proud to announce their promotional calendar for the 2015-16 season at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena. In addition to the many great giveaways and weekly promotions, this season's calendar includes all-new theme nights like Video Game Night on Friday, Nov. 20 and Craft Beer Night on Saturday, Jan. 9.
"We constantly strive to enhance the game experience for all of our fans," Executive Vice President Chris Lewis said. "This year's schedule features unique theme nights and will present a tremendous entertainment value. The fun that will accompany our promotional nights is sure to make Swamp Rabbits' games enjoyable for fans of all ages."
The promotional schedule kicks off with a Swamp Rabbits' car magnet giveaway to the first 2,000 fans on Friday, Oct. 23 as Greenville battles the South Carolina Stingrays on Opening Night.
Other giveaways will include dog leashes to the first 500 fans for Pucks-N-Paws Night on Oct. 30, and trick-or-treat bags on Oct. 31 for the return of the Halloween game. Swamp Rabbits' youth jerseys will be handed out for the first time on Dec. 11, while the first 1,000 fans on Jan. 8 will receive a free cap and the first 1,000 fans on Apr. 2 will receive a free Swamp Rabbits' t-shirt.
Weekly promotions set to return:
Thirsty Thursdays and $5 Tickets: During each of the seven Thursday home games this season, $5 tickets will be available for the green sections at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena box office. In addition, domestic draft beers, fountain drinks, pretzels and hot dogs are all just $2!
Family Fun Packs will be available at every Friday and Sunday home game. A constant fan favorite, families can take advantage of four (4) red section tickets, four (4) hot dogs, four (4) fountain drinks, four (4) bags of chips and Swamp Rabbits' swag to be announced - A $100 value for just $60!
Sunday Fun-days: At the conclusion of each Sunday home game, all fans are invited to stick around and engage in an open skate with the players, and receive free autographs on SANDLAPPER Securities Rink. The Swamp Rabbits will also sport their popular New York Rangers-style jerseys during each Sunday contest.
Promotional Headliners:
Opening Night: The Swamp Rabbits kick off the home portion of their sixth season in the Upstate on Friday, Oct. 23 at 7:00 p.m. In celebration, the first 2,000 fans will receive a Swamp Rabbits' car magnet and tickets will be discounted to just $10. Click here to purchase.
Pucks-N-Paws Night: The Swamp Rabbits encourage all fans to bring their pooch to the game on Friday, Oct. 30. All four-legged friends are welcome free of charge, but a $5 cash donation at the door is encouraged. 100-percent of donations received will benefit the Greenville Humane Society. The night will also include a small dog derby race on the ice during the second intermission and the first 500 fans will receive a Swamp Rabbits' dog leash.
Teddy Bear Toss: On Saturday, Dec. 5, the Swamp Rabbits will once again encourage all fans to bring a stuffed animal to toss onto the ice after Greenville's first goal. All of the stuffed animals will be collected and donated to Toys for Tots. The Swamp Rabbits also invite local elementary school choirs to perform Christmas Carols throughout the evening. Star Wars Night: If you're a fan of the Star Wars trilogy, this is your night! Join us Saturday, Dec. 19 and meet prominent members of the Star Wars series. In addition, the Swamp Rabbits encourage all fans to dress up as their favorite character.
Celebrate Greenville is our way of showing appreciation to our remarkable community. On Friday, Feb. 19, the Swamp Rabbits will recognize the accomplishments of Greenville businesses large and small. The team will also showcase the accolades of Greenville and recognize some of its great leaders.
Fan Appreciation Night: On Friday, Apr. 8, the Swamp Rabbits will wrap up the regular season by recognizing and celebrating YOU, the BEST fans in the ECHL. The team will say thank you with $10 tickets and dozens of prize giveaways throughout the game!
