September 7, 2015 - Eastern League (EL1)
Harrisburg Senators News Release

On the final day of the 2015 season, the Harrisburg Senators passed the 300,000 mark in fan attendance for the first time ever. With today's attendance of 3,426 the Senators drew 301,558 fans to Metro Bank Park this season. The previous record was set in 2010 when the team drew 294,325 fans.

Yesterday the Senators passed the mark of 294,325 fans to set their all-time high, which lasted for one game. The new high water mark and the surpassing of 300,000 fans to Metro Bank Park happened despite two rain outs this year, including Saturday, June 27th against Altoona.

Helping push the Senators over the top was a tremendous August as the Senators drew over 55,000 fans to Metro Bank Park in ten August dates. In addition, over the weekend of July 23-26 in a four-game series against Bowie, the Senators drew a record 25,133 fans for the series. That set an all-time high for a four-game weekend series for the Senators.

The Senators offices are open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily during the off-season. The 2016 home opener is Thursday, April 14th against the Reading Fightin Phils, which will be the Senators 30th season since returning to the Eastern League in 1987. For information about season tickets, ticket plans, and group tickets please call the Senators at 717-231-4444 or visit the Senators online at www.senatorsbaseball.com.
