September 7, 2015 - Pacific Coast League (PCL1)
Salt Lake Bees News Release

Four Fresno pitchers combined to throw a seven hit shutout, as the Grizzlies blanked the Salt Lake Bees 7-0 on Sunday night. Starter Mike Hauschild and relievers Kevin Chapman, Jordan Jankowski and James Hoyt struck out thirteen Bees, as Salt Lake was shutout for a franchise record 11th time this season. Fresno jumped on Bees' starter Nate Smith with five runs in the second inning on a solo home run by PCL MVP Matt Duffy, a two run double by Tony Kemp and a two run single by Tyler White.

Smith (2-4) took the loss, as he went just three innings and allowed six runs on seven hits with two strikeouts and four walks. Four Bees' pitchers combined to walk a season high ten batters. Alfredo Marte led the Bees with three hits, including a double, while Jared Mitchell add a pair of singles. Kyle Kubitza walked twice to extend his on-base streak to a new franchise record of 42 consecutive games, breaking the old mark of 41 set by Mike Moriarty in 2000. The Grizzlies have won seven meetings in Fresno this season and has won nine straight at home over the Bees dating back to last season.
