Shuckers and Smokies Postponed on Sunday

BILOXI, MS - After a lengthy delay, Sunday's game between the Shuckers and Tennessee Smokies has been postponed due to wet field conditions at MGM Park. The contest will be made up as part of a Labor Day, Monday doubleheader at 1:10 pm. The originally scheduled game will be played 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one. Both games are scheduled for seven innings.

Any fan with a ticket to Sunday's game may exchange it for another of equal value for Monday's doubleheader, or game one of the Southern League South Division Series on Thursday night at 7:10 pm.

Monday's doubleheader will wrap up the five-game series with the Tennessee Smokies and the 2015 regular season. Pitching matchups for the twin bill have not been announced.

Coverage of the doubleheader will begin at 12:55 p.m. on 1240-AM WGCM, 1580-AM WPMO and the Biloxi Shuckers Radio Network. Fans can also listen to the game using the TuneIn Radio app or by going to www.biloxishuckers.com.

Playoff Tickets On-Sale: Biloxi Shuckers Southern League South Division Series playoff tickets are on sale now to the general public. Fans can purchase playoff tickets online through biloxishuckers.com, ticketmaster.com, by calling 800-745-3000 or visiting the MGM Park box office. The Southern League South Division first half champions will host game one and two of the best-of-5 series against the South Division second half winner or division wildcard at 7:10 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 10 and Friday, Sept. 11 at MGM Park.

Following the game on Friday, Sept. 11, there will be post-game fireworks. The Shuckers have also partnered with First Command Financial Services to recognize a member from the Biloxi Fire and Police Departments as well as a member of the Army, Air Force, Marines, Navy, and Coast Guard. These seven individuals and their family members will be thanked on field before the game and participate in the game's honorary first pitch ceremony.
