Tonight, the SeaWolves look for a series win as they take on the Akron RubberDucks (Cleveland Indians) in the final game of a four-game series at Canal Park. Last night, the Ducks snapped a five-game losing streak to Erie as they scored six early runs en route to a 6-1 win over the 'Wolves. Erie's lone run came in the eighth inning when Wynton Bernard scored on a Jeff McVaney groundout... Righty Tommy Collier takes the mound for the SeaWolves making his 25th start of the season, 18th with the SeaWolves and first against Akron. Collier has allowed two runs or fewer in 10 of his 17 starts with Erie. Collier took a no-decision in his last start against Harrisburg on August 29. In the game, he allowed five runs, four earned, on five hits with three walks and four strikeouts in five innings of work. Erie won the game 7-6... RHP Mike Clevinger takes the mound for Akron making his 27th appearance, 26th start and fifth against the SeaWolves. Clevinger is 2-1 with a no-decision and a 4.18 ERA in his four starts against Erie this season. He took a no-decision in his last start against Richmond on August 29. In the game, he tossed six shutout innings allowing three hits with no walks and seven strikeouts.
