The Bulls play the second game of a three-game set against the Charlotte Knights at BB&T Ballpark in their final road trip of the season. Durham has won four in a row, and is 12-2 over its last 14 games, but has still dropped 41 of its previous 73 contests to go from a 2.0-game lead in the IL South to a 5.0-game deficit. Charlotte - the Chicago White Sox top affiliate - is 6-4 over its last 10 games, but just 3-4 over its last seven. The Knights enter today 4.0 games back of first-place Norfolk in the IL South, and have been eliminated from Wild Card contention. The Knights are 41-29 at BB&T Ballpark, compared to just a 31-38 record away from home.
