The first Red vs. White game at the 2015 Oshawa Generals traning camp started out with a bang. Players ready to start the season after a short offseason were trying to hit everything they could.

The first period started with Jeremy Brodeur in net for the White team and Liam Devine in net for the Red team. After some back and fourth play Jack Studnicka opened the scoring with what would be his first on the day. Right after, Huether scored as well to put Red up by two, but with ten minutes left Manchurek scored shorthanded to get team White on the board. In a very active first period Domenic Commisso scored to tie things up a two's.

With only a few minutes left team, Red was granted a glorious opportunity to go ahead by one. Kenny Huether was awarded a penalty shot, one on one with Jeremy Brodeur. On this occasion, Brodeur got the best of him. The two teams skated into the intermission knotted at two.

In the second and final period of the game, the two teams started to settled in. With a quick goalie change, Jackson came in for team Red and Gauthier came in for team White we were ready to go. Team White went up by one only to have Huether score another to tie it up again. It was a hard fought period highlighted by hits from Stillman and Desrocher.

The final deciding goal came with little time left on the board as Jack Studnicka scored his second of the game to put team Red up by one at 4-3. Even with the goalie pulled team White couldn't tie it up.

On a pair of two-goal performances from Studnicka and Huether team, team Red takes the first game.
