Tonight, the SeaWolves look for back-to-back wins as they take on the Akron RubberDucks (Cleveland Indians) in the second game of a four-game series at Canal Park. Last night, the SeaWolves scored a pair of runs in the first inning and held on to beat the Ducks 2-1. It was the second straight game that Erie scored two in the first... Tonight, RHP Michael Fulmer makes his 22nd start of the season, sixth with the SeaWolves and fifth start against Akron. Fulmer beat Akron on August 22 allowing a run on two hits with a walk and six strikeouts in six innings of work. Fulmer earned his second straight win in his last start against Harrisburg on August 27. In the game, he allowed four runs on eight hits with a walk and eight strikeouts in five innings of work. He left in a tie game, Erie scored in the last of the fifth and won the game 5-4... RHP Adam Plutko takes the mound for Akron making his 18th start and third against the SeaWolves. Plutko is 0-2 against Erie this season. He took a no-decision in his last start against Richmond on August 27. In the game, he allowed two runs, one earned, on six hits with no walks and six strikeouts in 5.2 innings of work.
