Screaming Eagles Hockey Returns to 1270 CJCB

Sydney - The Cape Breton Screaming Eagles and MBS Radio announced today that they have reached an agreement that will see all 2015-16 Screaming Eagles regular season and playoff games broadcast live on 1270 CJCB AM radio.

"We are thrilled to be able to have all our games broadcast live on the radio once again this season," said Peter MacDonald, Screaming Eagles General Manager - Business Operations. "The radio broadcast is an important way for our fans to connect with the team."

Screaming Eagle hockey was previously broadcasted on 1270 CJCB for 12 seasons from 1997-2009.

"Screaming Eagles hockey is a huge part of our community, and 1270 CJCB has been part of the fabric of our community for over 85 years!" said Alan Peddle, MBS General Sales Manager. "We are very proud to be able to bring Screaming Eagles hockey back home to 1270 CJCB where it all began."

Pat McNeil will again make his way to the press box and serve as the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles play-by-play announcer.

In addition to having all games broadcast on the radio, 1270 CJCB will audio stream the games live online from their website at www.cjcbradio.com. The Screaming Eagles first regular season game is Friday, September 11th when they face the Acadie-Bathurst Titan at the KC Irving Regional Center in Bathurst, with their home opener set for Friday, September 18th against the Saint John Sea Dogs at Centre 200.
