Danville Dashers News Release
Danville, IL - The Danville Dashers, are excited to announce that former Watertown Wolves Head Coach Brent Clarke will join the organization as a player / assistant coach for the 2015-16 season.
"Brent brings a lot of experience at this level that will greatly help relate to our players," Head Coach Steve Harrison said. "He's very educated with a high level of hockey intelligence and a strong desire to teach and learn the game beyond his playing career. He is also a keen offensive mind and a great leader. Fans are going to love him"
Clarke, 29, will enter his second season in a coaching position after capturing the Commissioner's Cup this past April. As a professional, he spent time in the International Hockey League (IHL), SPHL, ECHL and Central Hockey League, with more than 360 regular-season games to his credit.
"I'm excited to come to Danville, compete for a championship and work with Harry. I've been here before as an opponent, and I liked it then, so now I'm happy to call Danville home and get to work helping the Dashers get to the next level," Clarke says.
