St. Paul Saints News Release

ST. PAUL, MN (September 1, 2015) - With the Saints regular season just about to wrap up and Oktoberfest just around the corner, the undead will rise and invade CHS Field on a homestand that surely won't be just a one hit wonder. Start the morning with a well-balanced breakfast and gear up for the final seven games of the 2015 regular season as the Saints host the Gary SouthShore Railcats and the New Jersey Jackals from September 1-7.

With only seven games in the regular season left, the end times are near and the zombie apocalypse has begun. The Saints kick off the homestand with a four game series against the Railcats starting on Tuesday September 1 at 7:05 p.m. Dress like your favorite undead corpse and come hungry for brains as the 5th Annual Zombie Baseball Crawl makes its way to CHS Field. Don't forget to test your knowledge with your newly acquired brains at another Mississippi Market Trivia Tuesday presented by Trivia Mafia starting at 7:30 p.m. in the Lawn area.

On Wednesday September 2 at 7:05 p.m., the Saints celebrate the sugary goodness of breakfast cereals as the colorful cast of your favorite box front characters invade CHS Field. Keep your lucky charms close to the chest and go coo coo at the craziest tailgate party of the year with live music and food at the Broadway Street gate on another Walser Wednesday.

With the change of seasons on the horizon, the Saints get you set for the start of Oktoberfest on German Night at CHS Field on Thursday September 3 at 7:05 p.m. The Saints celebrate German heritage with a night of festivities at the ballpark sure to rival the great Bavarian festival with roots going back to 1810. Pack your lederhosen and knee socks and enjoy $1 beers all night long as part of a Thirsty Thursday presented by Metro PCS.

As one of the most successful regular seasons in Saints history continues to inch to a close, the Saints tempt fate as we honor the musical artists whose fame was just a flash in the pan on an Xcel Energy Friday Night Fireworks night to the music of One Hit Wonders. The fireworks extravaganza will follow the conclusion of the series finale between the Saints and Railcats as we take you through the great artists of yesteryear and give them another 15 minutes of fame on September 4 at 7:05 p.m.

On Saturday September 5 at 7:05 p.m., the Saints offer curtseys and tip their caps to fictional princesses as they welcome the New Jersey Jackals to CHS Field for a three game series. The Disney princesses will be in attendance as the kings of the North Division begin their last series of the regular season. With royalty present at CHS Field, be sure to dress in your formal Hawaiian shirt attire on another Treasure Island Tropical Saturday.

After a historic regular season both on and off the field, we salute the Saints fans that have already set the single season franchise record attendance mark with Fan Appreciation Night on Sunday September 6 at 5:05 p.m. After the conclusion of the game, the Saints give the people what they want as the food trucks roll in and we light up the sky with a fireworks spectacle like no other. A Monster Food Truck Rally will offer fans the chance to sample local fare and step onto the field to grab a spot for the Postgame Fireworks Super Show.

On Monday September 7, set your alarms for an 11:05 a.m. start; we'll have breakfast ready for you with our Labor Day Kegs and Eggs game at CHS Field. With kegs on hand and specialty omelets available as part of a Metropolitan State University Munchie Monday, it will be the most well rounded breakfast you've had all week to close out the season on a full stomach.

With a division title already secured and the playoffs on the horizon, the Saints have jammed packed enough fun into the final homestand so you can't overlook the end of the regular season. Whether it's brains your after or a chance to meet your favorite cereal box character or Disney princess, the Saints have it all as we thank the fans for what has been an unforgettable inaugural season at CHS Field.
