The Bulls play the finale of a four-game series against the Charlotte Knights in the first series of a six-game homestand. Durham is 8-2 over its last 10 games, but is still just 20-25 since the All-Star break. The Bulls have dropped 41 of their previous 69 contests to go from a 2.0-game lead in the IL South to a 7.5-game deficit. Charlotte - the Chicago White Sox top affiliate - has won five of its last six, but is just 12-15 in August. The Knights enter today in 3rd place in the IL South, 3.5 games back of Norfolk for the division lead and 6.0 games back of Columbus for the Wild Card.
