PENSACOLA, Fla. (Aug. 27, 2015) - The Pensacola Ice Flyers and Head Coach Rod Aldoff announced today the addition of rookie forwards Luke Hannon and Patrick Divjak to the team's 2015 Training Camp roster.

"Luke has had a unique career to this point, taken a different road to get here. Luke has played some tremendous hockey and has a high skill set. He's had some adversity but it's only made him stronger and given him a bigger will to play hockey," Aldoff said. "Patrick has the ability to be an impact player right away. He has great skill and the ability to make things happen. I'm expecting Patrick to come in and be a great, exciting player the fans will appreciate."

Hannon, a native of Buffalo, N.Y., comes to Pensacola after playing one season at Liberty University, a member of American Collegiate Hockey Association's (ACHA) Division 1. In 32 games for the Flames, Hannon scored 33 goals, added 35 assists, amassed 29 penalty minutes (PIM), and a +16 rating. He also represented the United States and the ACHA on the USA Hockey Men's National University Team that competed in the World University Games in Granada, Spain. In seven games, Hannon had two goals, five assists, two penalty minutes, and a +5.

"I'm grateful for the opportunity to begin my professional hockey career in Pensacola. People can expect me to be a patient playmaker who loves to create scoring chances," Hannon stated.

Divjak hails from Vienna, Austria, and will be beginning his first professional season in North America. Last season, Divjak played nine games in his native Austria for Dornbirner EC of the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga. During those games, he scored one goal and had a +1. Prior to turning pro, he played a four-year career at NCAA Division I Niagara University. Over his four seasons, Divjak appeared in 144 games for the Purple Eagles and put up 21 goals, 56 assists, 110 PIM, and was a +10.

Divjak added, "I'm excited to be joining this great organization for the 2015-2016 season due to the great things I've heard about the organization and the city. I hope I can contribute to the team in bringing a championship home."
