Shorebirds Begin Final Homestand Saturday

SALISBURY, Md. -- The Delmarva Shorebirds will play their final five home games of the 2015 season beginning Saturday, August 29 at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium.
All five games will be against the division rival Hickory Crawdads (Texas Rangers affiliate) and feature plenty of promotions for fans to take advantage of including the final fireworks show of 2015, Two Buck Monday and Fan Appreciation Night.
Saturday, August 29 vs. Hickory Crawdads, 7:05 p.m.
Saturday's series opener against Hickory will mark the final Q105 Fireworks Show of the 2015 season. This extravaganza, presented by Spicer Bros. Construction Inc., promises to be a can't-miss event as the summer closes.
Sunday, August 30 vs. Hickory Crawdads, 5:05 p.m.
The Shorebirds will continue to help those in need on The Peninsula by holding another Strike Out Hunger Sunday at Perdue Stadium. Fans who bring two non-perishable food items to the Arthur W. Perdue Stadium Box Office will receive a General Admission ticket for just $3.
After the game, all members of the Junior 'Birds Kids Club presented by McDonald's of the Eastern Shore will be able to run the bases after the game thanks to Chili's Grill & Bar.
Monday, August 31 vs. Hickory Crawdads, 7:05 p.m.
Monday's game will be the last chance for fans to take advantage of the Shorebirds' incredible Two Buck Monday deals presented by 47ABC. General Admission tickets, Esskay hot dogs and 12-ounce Pepsi products will be just $2 each all game long.
Tuesday, September 1 vs. Hickory Crawdads, 7:05 p.m.
The savings will continue the following night on Two For Tuesday presented by McDonald's of the Eastern Shore. Fans who bring a receipt from a local McDonald's restaurant to the Arthur W. Perdue Stadium box office will be eligible to receive a buy one, get one free offer on General Admission tickets.
Fans will also want to bring a charged phone to the game, as the Shorebirds will hold another Tweet Your Seat contest presented by McDonald's of the Eastern Shore.
Wednesday, September 2 vs. Hickory Crawdads, 7:05 p.m.
The Shorebirds will spend the final home game of the 2015 regular season honoring the loyal fans who have supported the team all year with Fan Appreciation Night. The team will be having a number of special prize giveaways throughout the night as a way of saying thanks.
Wednesday's game will also be the final Coastal Home Care Baseball Bingo game of 2015. Fans who play along are eligible to win a prize for completing their cards.
Finally, the Shorebirds will be holding an in-game auction for the players' home white tops that they have worn throughout the 2015 season. Winning bidders will get to receive the jerseys from the players on the field following the game.
