Portland, Maine - The Sea Dogs used a five-run third and a solid start from Luis Diaz to take the series finale over the New Hampshire Fisher Cats 7-3 in front of a sellout crowd on Wednesday night at Hadlock Field.

Trailing 2-0 entering the third, Tim Roberson put Portland on the board with an RBI double to halve the Fisher Cats' lead. After Oscar Tejeda walked to load the bases, Dustin Lawley worked a two-out walk from Scott Barnes to force in the tying run. Luis Martinez then took an 0-2 pitch from Barnes and hit it off the wall in right-center field to score all three runners and break the tie to give Portland a 5-2 lead they wouldn't relinquish. The Sea Dogs sent all nine men to the plate in the third and scored five runs on three hits - four of the runs scored with two outs.
