Indianapolis Indians News Release

INDIANAPOLIS -- Kristopher Negron's two-RBI single capped a four-run third inning that helped send the Louisville Bats cruising past the Indianapolis Indians, 9-5, Tuesday night at Victory Field.

Tribe starter Brad Lincoln, who had allowed just one run in eight innings over two previous spot starts, was tagged for six runs and the loss during his third turn in the rotation.

He escaped a bases-loaded jam with just one run in the second inning before Louisville scored four times with two outs in the third frame.

The Bats then tacked on a run in the fourth and three more in the fifth to account for Indianapolis' eventual four-run rally.

Josh Bell led the Tribe offense by reaching four times with two hits, two walks, one run and an RBI. The top prospect is now hitting a league-best .449 (22-for-49) with 10 runs in his last 14 games.
