Mavericks 2015 Fan Fest Set for September 12

INDEPENDENCE, MO (August 25, 2015) - The Missouri Mavericks annual Fan Fest event, presented by American Family Insurance, is set to take place on Saturday, September 12 from 11:00a.m. to 1:00p.m. at Independence Events Center (IEC). Admission to this event is free.

The first 1,000 fans in attendance to the 2015 Fan Fest event will receive a limited edition jumbo rally towel! Fans will be allowed to enter the IEC, through the South doors only, beginning at 11:00a.m.

Key presenters at this year's Fan Fest include Lamar Hunt Jr. (President and Owner of the Missouri Mavericks), Richard Matvichuk (Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations for the Missouri Mavericks), and Tom Tilley (Kansas City Youth Hockey Association Board Member and former NHL player).

Fan Fest will also be the first opportunity for fans to welcome the Missouri Mavericks new Assistant Coach for the 2015-16 season. The official announcement of that new coaching staff member will be made in the days leadings up to Fan Fest.

A detailed list of participating sponsors, event attractions, Team Store sales, and full program outline will be provided at a later date.

The Mavericks will play host to a blood drive, presented by the American Red Cross, sign-up information will be announced prior to the event.

Single-game tickets can be purchased online at TicketMaster.com or in-person at the Silverstein Eye Centers Box Office at Independence Events Center. Fans interested in mini pack plans should call the Mavericks Ticket Department at 816-252-PUCK (7825) to speak with a Ticket Sales representative.

The Mavericks begin their 2015-16 campaign on the road in Anchorage, Alaska for their first-ever matchup against the Alaska Aces.
