Kiel Williams Returns for Another Season

INDEPENDENCE, MO (August25, 2015) - The Missouri Comets announced today the re-signing of midfielder Kiel Williams for the upcoming Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) season, which will kick off this fall. Per league and team policies, additional contract details were not disclosed.

"I am very happy to have Kiel [Williams] join us for another season," Coach Vlatko Andonovski said. "I am very proud of his improvement and development over the last couple of years and I am sure he will continue to grow and become a very important player for the league and for the team."

Williams, will be entering his second season with the Comets after a very successful rookie season last year after graduating from Park University where he was a starting freshman and a team captain during his junior and senior years. In his final year with the Pirates, he was named AMC First Team All-Conference after recording nine assists and six goals.

Last year, the Point Fortin, T&T native totaled seven points with four goals and three assists in 13 games. He notched his first professional goal against the Chicago Mustangs on December 5, 2014 at the Independence Events Center.
