Evansville, IN - Head Coach Al Sims and the Evansville IceMen, presented by Coors Light, have announced the signing of forwards Adam Stuart and Jarret Lukin.

Calgary, Alberta native Adam Stuart joins the IceMen training camp roster following a couple of strong seasons with the Louisiana IceGators in the Southern Professional Hockey League. Stuart, 6'-1", 175 lbs. scored 21 goals & 32 assists for 53 points in 54 games last year. The 26 year-old center also posted 141 penalty minutes. During the 2013-14 season with the IceGators, he tallied 56 points (26 goals and 30 assists) along with 98 penalty minutes in 54 games. His professional career also includes 2 games with the IceMen in the 2013-14 season and two full seasons with the Mississippi Surge (2011-12 & 2012-13) in the SPHL where in 109 games he scored 31 goals, 42 assists, 73 points, and 129 penalty minutes. Prior to turning pro, Adam played college hockey at York University in Toronto, Canada and junior hockey for both the Calgary Royals and Quesnel Millionaires in Quesnel, British Columbia.

Veteran forward Jarret Lukin returns to Evansville after appearing in 56 games for the IMen. Lukin, 31, from Fort McMurray, Alberta, scored 12 goals and added 26 assists for 38 points. The 5'-11", 185 lbs. forward has played nine years professionally including five seasons with the Allen Americans where in 238 games in Texas he scored 74 goals and 88 assists for 162 points. Jarret turned professionally in the 2006-07 season with the Florida Everblades where he played two seasons. Lukin has also seen action with the ECHL Dayton Bombers and in the American Hockey League with the Rochester Americans and Lake Erie (Cleveland) Monsters. His best pro season was during the 2008-09 season in Dayton when he scored 49 points on 22 goals & 27 assists in 66 games. Jarret also played college hockey at the University of Calgary and junior hockey in the Western Hockey League with both the Kamloops Blazers in British Columbia and the Medicine Hat Tigers in Alberta.

The Evansville IceMen also announced that the team has been awarded the "Best Local Sporting Event" Platinum Award by the readers of the Evansville Courier & Press for the fourth season in a row. The IceMen management, staff, and players wish to thank the readers of the Courier & Press for once again voting for us!
