San Antonio Scorpions News Release
SAN ANTONIO, Texas (Friday, August 21, 2015) - The San Antonio Scorpions return to Toyota Field Saturday night for their first home game in almost a month as they host the expansion Jacksonville Armada for the first time. Jacksonville is coming off back-to-back shutout wins, while the Scorpions fell just short against the league leading Cosmos last Saturday night in Hempstead, New York.
The Armada are led in scoring by Alhassane Keita with six goals on the season, while Omar Cummings still leads the NASL and the Scorpions with ten tallies even though he was not able to find the back of the net against the Cosmos. The last time these two clubs met earlier this year in Jacksonville, the Armada claimed a 2-1 win as Cummings scored the only goal for the Scorpions in the 9'.
